Day 22

Day 22 – Achieving Wholeness

“This a wonderful day. I’ve never seen this one before.” ― Maya Angelou

Welcome to the bonus day of our 21-Day Meditation Experience. Today we offer a special guided meditation to show you that wholeness isn’t a concept to understand or an idea to believe in. Wholeness is the experiential reality that your life is inextricably connected to everyone and everything else in the universe. There are no sharp boundaries in your consciousness that separate you from universal consciousness. You are that wholeness.

I am whole and complete exactly as I am. Yes. :: Art by Lori Portka

My Notes:

Ah the last day!  It is here.  We were created to be unique and be awe inspiring as nature.   As life changes, aging, changing your looks shifting from year to year, etc. the real you is constant and ever magnificence.  You are timeless in the present moment.  Inner light has no bounds.

The universe is random; we struggle for what we have gained in our fragmented life.  Being pulled left and right makes it hard to believe.  Each day is sliced up like bread, work, pleasures, demands, etc.  To change this, change your perception.  Where is wholeness to be found in the universe?  God is all, everywhere.  Love is all and everywhere, Grace abounds.  Invisible things, you experience them in moments in time such as love, gratitude, grace.   Nothing else is constant except ourselves.  The self is what we are most grateful for.

The self you see in the mirror is changing all the time and yet is not the real you.  The real you is timeless.

Namaste!

Day 21 – Seeing with the Eyes of the Soul

“Living in constant love and gratitude is the essence of spirituality.” ― Akemi G

Congratulations on completing this 21-day journey with us! We are so happy you have joined us on this path toward a life of grace. We hope that these meditations on gratitude have helped awaken you to the infinite grace that permeates your life.

In today’s meditation, we learn to see others and the world with the vision of grace and love. We call this “seeing with the eyes of the soul,” because when your deepest self recognizes its essence in another person, it experiences love. When your true self sees itself in an object, it experiences beauty. When we see with the eyes of the soul, we find our pure self everywhere.

Thank you for inviting us to travel this road with you, and may you be a light to the world.

Living in constant love and gratitude is the essence of spirituality. - Akemi G

My Notes:

In a moment of grace we see with the eyes of the soul.  When you are most open and alive, and you accept everyone as they are, you will ease into the state of grace.  The more you practice, the easier it will be able to do.  Even out of the state of meditation.   My soul sees only light everywhere.

Day 21 - My soul sees only light everywhere.

Meditation Day 20 – The Highest Love is Grace

Day 20 – The Highest Love Is Grace

“Love is such a deep gratitude. When you are truly in love with life, every breath you take is gratitude.” ― Bryant McGill

Today’s meditation shows us how to harness the power of gratitude to guide our spiritual transformation. We are used to relying on our ego mind to make major life choices, but the vision and guidance of our separate self is always constrained by our past and our limited understanding that sees the world in terms of differences. The guiding grace of our higher self is not restricted by the past or our limited knowledge. Grace sees the differences in the world as integrated parts of one wholeness.

We feel this grace personally as a kind of divine love. This loving state of grace connects us, fulfills us, delights us, transforms us, and awakens us to that elevated state of divine consciousness.

Love is such a deep gratitude. When you are truly in love with life, every breath you take is gratitude. — Bryant McGill

My Notes:

The highest love is Grace.   The purest energy is Love.  Starts with gratitude and falls into grace.  You are loved, you are essential to the overall plan.   You have the most enduring love.  If you can connect with that love, you can dip into that well and have an abundance of love.  We love life, and life loves us back.

AS the path unfolds you have to make decisions.  When you are guided by ego, it is all about thinking, feeling and doing.  You try to make good instead of bad choices.  Transformation choices are relying to gratitude.  It does not use the tools that the ego uses.   Grace comes to us in human ways.   When love flows from our true self to the true self of another it is true love.  It is the most complete love you will feel.  This is the key to transformation.  This kind of love is more than emotion it is the state of awareness.  True and eternal.  This is love.   You are loved for simply being.

I allow love to come to my aid!!!!

Day 20 - I allow love to come to my aid.

Meditation Day 19 – The Path to Total Transformation

Day 19

Day 19 – The Path to Total Transformation

“It is only through thanksgiving that I can become myself.” ― Kallistos Ware

In today’s meditation, we provide the necessary tools of transformation on the path to grace. As we navigate the ups and downs of daily life, with the mix of positive and negative situations at work and home, we need two tools to help us turn our practice of gratitude into a real state of grace: knowledge and experience. Knowledge provides the understanding and vision of how grace manifests, and direct experience gives us the personal validation that makes it real in our lives.

Using the tools knowledge and experience with our practice of gratitude ensures that our path to grace is real and practical. These tools allow us to transmute all of our life experiences, positive or negative, into a genuine life of grace.

Day 19 - My inner light is guiding me.

My Notes

Any experience can be changed for the good.  The path to transformation leads to a wonderful promise.  But this takes inner growth and this takes time.  It is easy to be grateful when all is well, but not all days are like that. To get thru trying moments we need to be prepared.  WE need to have knowledge and experience; knowledge gives you the bigger picture; Experience lets you know that it is true.  In life there are light and dark aspects in all things.  Everything has both and you need to stop struggling against the darkness and accept it in its whole.  Only then can you appreciate the experience.   My Inner Light is guiding me!!!!

Meditation Day 18 – The Rewards of the Higher Self

August 3rd, 2015 klwade Posted in Meditation No Comments »

Day 18

Day 18 – The Rewards of the Higher Self

“You will never accept gratitude as a solution to your problems, until you have reached acceptance.” ― Shannon L. Alder

In today’s meditation, we explore the benefits of living from your higher self. Living from your higher self means your sense of identity is rooted in your inner awareness rather than your separate self, or ego, which is oriented toward objects of perception.

The higher self is who we are. It is our self-awareness and so it is always with us. The reward of the higher self is a life liberated from the demands, fears, and limitations of the separate self or ego mind. Practicing gratitude and appreciation helps to keep awareness aligned to the higher self because we remain focused on the unifying and uplifting qualities of consciousness, instead of allowing attention to get trapped in differences.

The Home of picture quotes

My Notes:

Use gratitude as a portal to our higher self.  The higher self and the true self are the same.  Some call it the soul.  How are we to contact the higher self and take advantage of its power?   The ego and the higher self are connected.  Depending on what you thoughts are…  I me, mine, are thoughts of ego.  The higher self looks for love, grace, truth.   The connection is blocked by lack of knowledge.   Everyone journey goes from doubt to certainly.  Each step guided by what you know and what you have experienced.  You are building a life story.  My higher self is with me all the time.

We are in control of your thoughts, make them positive ones!

This is where you merge and trust in your Higher Self and your communication with the Divine.

Change occurs in ones life when one is willing to change. We can never force people into changing or growing; they must be ready within their own being from where they are at to consciously choose to move into higher vibrational ways. The Ego is a very real part of all of us; it exists within it’s own right and parameters. If we are not ready to release an old destructive pattern, then it will resist until it fully goes through the lesson and reaches a breaking point.

Meditation Day 17 – Making Grace a Way of Life

Day 17

Day 17 – Making Grace a Way of Life

“All that we have and don’t have is a grace.” ― Mac MacKenzie

In today’s meditation, we go beyond the mere behavior and attitude of gratitude, and let gratitude and grace become our way of being and living in the world. In the past, feelings of grace may have been rare and fleeting moments. To make grace permanent, we need to establish gratitude as a habit, so it becomes your default mode of relating to others.

When gratitude is the natural way you approach life, it is no longer an activity you try to remember to do. Gratitude is simply how you express who you are and how you feel. The practice of gratitude naturally and invisibly becomes a life lived in the state of grace.

The present moment is the only moment available to us and it is the door to all moments. —Thich Nhat Hanh

My Notes:

Make Grace a way of life.  We are the author of our own story.  All the power of the universe rises up to help you.  We must take gratitude from a fleeting feeling to being a way of being.  So much so that we no longer question it.  However it does seem to be in small doses so you need to make it a habit.  This work happens inside becomes a joy because with each effort it brings more happiness and fulfillment.  Grace stands beside me.  Grace is always there, but there will be times where life is not going well and we will lash out, like a small child who is blaming others for their pain.   We are responsible, no one else.   Take charge of your story.  Do not blame others.   Only you own it.  Everything you want to achieve in life already exists in your own being.    Eventually only love and light will exist in your life.

Meditation Day 16 – The Hidden Secret of Being

Day 16

Day 16 – The Hidden Secret of Being

“Walk as if you are kissing the Earth with your feet.” ― Thích Nhất Hạnh

In today’s meditation, we explore how the practice of gratitude reveals the hidden qualities of our awareness: wonder, joy, and beauty. As grace connects us to the hidden truths of Nature, we are really discovering the essence of our expansive liberated self.

Gratitude awakens these dormant gifts of our unlimited self and makes them powerful forces of positive change in our lives. As our self expands through gratitude, our concerns, anxieties, and insecurities become small and insignificant, while our experience of joy, freedom, beauty, and compassion continues to grow.

Thich Nhat Hanh Meditation | Walk As If You Are Kissing The Earth With Your Feet --Thich Nhat Hanh

My Notes

Love truth and beauty is inside of you.  They come out when your awareness is expanded to gratitude.  Everyone has that experience when something is magnified in beauty.  Such moments happen for the short term.

When you are out in nature, and you appreciate the beauty, you only see awe and wonder when you create it.  The hidden secret is that you already have this.

Meditation Day 15 – Seeing the Big Picture, Becoming the Big Picture

Day 15 meditation

Day 15 – Seeing the Big Picture, Becoming the Big Picture

“True wisdom is being able to say ‘it is what it is’ with a smile of celebratory wonder on your face.” ― Eric Micha’el Leventhal

Living in grace is for everyone, not just for those who feel called to a secluded life of prayer and devotion. Grace is everywhere all the time. To fully live in the state of grace only requires that we allow our true self to shine forth.

In today’s meditation, we learn that we attain this state by simply being it, which means we naturally and effortless live an open life of gratitude. That is how we become a complete person. We embody a life in grace by acting from a spirit of generosity and wholeness.

My Notes:

We now are becoming the big picture, the more complete we are the more grace resides within us.

Living in a complete state of grace happens when you become a complete person.  First we saw the big picture, now become the big picture.

We now have a wider perspective and see how everything is inter-connected.  Grace exists in every moment.  Truths to live by.  Your attitude is the key.  Show generosity to all about you.  Generosity of spirit is grace itself.  It means that you are open with everyone that you will accept them with kindness.  Show appreciation.    Pay it forward.

Meditation Day 14 – Gratitude Brings Compassion

Day 14 – Gratitude Brings Compassion

“We are all of one light on this one Earth, and loving humanity makes all the difference.” ― Michelle Cruz-Rosado

Today’s meditation shows us how expressing gratitude easily leads to compassion. We all know that to be spiritual we are supposed to be compassionate, but with all the negativity and injustice we see around us, it’s easy for our egos to feel justified being judgmental and critical.

However, when you find reasons to feel grateful to someone, you are bridging the gulf of separation between the two of you. You can’t be thankful and resentful at the same time. That connection you feel when you are thankful is your shared humanity – it is the ground of compassion. A compassionate heart is accepting and forgiving not only to others, but to yourself as well.

Motivational Quote About Change - Steven Pressfield

My Notes:

Compassion can change your perception of the world.   We are more alike than different.  When you judge another human being, you deny the connection between each other.

There is a link between compassion and gratitude.  Compassion sometimes feels impossible, we tend to judge against those who are bad or wrong.   When you are thankful, you cannot be judgmental at the same time.  Work on feeling thankful for each person.    Next to compassion is to forgive.  When you stop judging others, you stop judging yourself.  Eventually you get to a place of grace.

Forgiveness doesn't excuse their behavior. It prevents their behavior from destroying your inner peace

The day I realized that I actually resented myself for being imperfect, incomplete, and powerless over so many things is the day I began to see myself more compassionately.

Meditation Day 13 – Succeeding through Gratitude

I find true success through inner fulfillment.

SANSKRIT MANTRA

Day 13 – Succeeding through Gratitude

“Having contentment and gratitude in the present moment is the surest way to achieve success.” ― Bryant McGill

When grace guides our thoughts and actions, our success will be fulfilling and meaningful. Today’s meditation shows us how the practice of gratitude can guide our success in an intelligent and compassionate direction. This type of success is different from the ego-driven success which seeks to hold, control, and keep the object of desire as a way to feel better about itself.

However, if your success is driven from gratitude and grace in your heart, then you are connected to your true self and your success always feels complete and fulfilling.

My Notes:

Showing gratitude will be success.  It is not about sacrifice, but about gratitude.  The universe is waiting to provide you all the success you need.

Success is not often associated with grace.  However it is very much linked.  True success comes from internal fulfillment.  Take every gift from humility and gratitude.    What you want to avoid is the ego.  Grace is always the giver of success, and not selfishness.   If you feel gratitude you have grace, if you feel you need to control something or feel a rush over “beating others”, that is the ego.

Gratitude. Appreciation for what I already have rather than thinking I am "owed" more!
